G-13 The Kızılelma Cave is a part of the cave system that is connected to the Cumayanı cave by a series of sinkholes. It has a depth of about 85 meters and a diameter of 5 meters. Kızılelma cave was developed within the limestones of the Lower Cretaceous Kapuz formation. The Kızılelma cave system is of great importance in understanding the karstic drainage and underground reservoiraquifer mechanism. The cave and its surroundings are suitable for nature sports activities.
